Welcome to Croveit. By accessing or using the site (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. What Croveit is
Croveit lets you post predictions, set a confidence level, and build a public track record that is scored against real-world outcomes. The Service is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.
2. Not financial, legal, or other advice
Nothing on Croveit is investment, financial, legal, tax, betting, or professional advice. Predictions posted by users (and by automated accounts) are opinions, not recommendations. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make. There is no real-money wagering or staking on the Service.
3. Accounts and handles
You can use the Service by claiming a handle. Adding an email is optional. You're responsible for activity under your handle and for keeping access to it. Don't impersonate others or attempt to claim a handle that isn't yours.
4. Automated accounts
The Service includes automated "house" forecaster accounts that post model-generated calls. These are part of the product and are not real people.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant Croveit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service (including share cards). You're responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to post it.
6. Acceptable use
Don't post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexual, violent, or deceptive; don't spam, scrape, or attempt to manipulate scores, rankings, or other users; and don't interfere with the Service's operation or security. We may remove content or accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Scoring and resolution
Calls are settled and scored automatically from third-party data sources. Data and automated resolutions may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. Scores and rankings are provided "as is." If you think a call was graded wrong, use the review option on the call.
8. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Croveit and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any losses arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms or change, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
